How often should I have my air ducts cleaned?

As general maintenance for heating & cooling systems, air duct cleaning is recommended every 3 to 5 years.

You may do it more or less frequently depending on your needs and preferences.

Home occupants suffering from asthma, allergies, or chronic respiratory problems may want to schedule more frequent cleanings.

Home occupants with pets may also want to clean more frequently.

What does the air duct cleaning process entail?

From every supply & return vent, interior duct surfaces are agitated with compressed air nozzles & whips to break loose the accumulated dust.

As agitation dislodges contaminants in each segment of ductwork, an industrial HEPA filter negative air machine is connected at an access opening.

Under suction force, dust & debris are removed from the ductwork and channeled into the machine.

An environmental disinfectant is fogged through every supply & return vent to inhibit the growth of organisms.

Does air duct cleaning make a mess?

Our air duct cleaning process does not leave a mess in your home.

The dust & debris removed from the air duct system is contained within the industrial HEPA filter negative air machine.

Should I have my air ducts cleaned after remodeling?

During home remodeling, it is recommended to seal off supply & return vents and not operate the heating & cooling system.

If the supply and return vents are not sealed, construction dust can be channeled into the air duct system, in which air duct cleaning would be necessary to remove construction dust from the air duct system.

How often should I have my dyer vent cleaned?

Dryer vents should be inspected & cleaned at least once a year depending on the size of the household & dryer usage.

Dryer vents can get clogged with lint & reduce the functionality of your dryer.

As a result, the dryer will not only take longer to dry clothes, but it will also increase your electricity bill & create a fire hazard.
